Newmiln Farm produces food for people, not commodities.
Situated in the sweet spot between arable and pastoral land in Tibbermore, Perth, Newmiln Farm has been a thriving organic farm for decades. Healthy soils, a generous microclimate, and a can-do spirit have allowed the Grierson Family to run beef cattle, sheep, pigs, poultry, a renowned butchery and an arable operation for their own animal feed โ all under one roof.
It’s a farm that works like an ecosystem, and it shows!
With the next generation pursuing other paths, Newmiln Farm is offering a Contract Farming opportunity for a new farming partner to take over four enterprises; pigs, layers, broilers and turkeys. This move allows the business to focus on the retained enterprises whilst creating a unique long-term opportunity for the right person(s).
The advantages for a new partner are real: functioning enterprises with established infrastructure and a proven track record, years of accumulated knowledge which can be shared, a buy-back contract from the farm and scope to increase production.
You’ll be supported by experienced, positive people who want to see you succeed. There’s also the option to earn as a part-time farm hand while you build your own enterprises โ a solid foundation from day one.
This is a rare chance to step into a robust, ecosystem-positive enterprise without starting from scratch nor re-inventing the wheel.
That said, Newmiln Farm is not a place for impractical dreamers. You need to be practical, enterprising, a self-starter, and find real satisfaction in rolling up your sleeves and getting on with it โ every single day.
The values of the farm
